Anchored by attorney Joseph P. Mullen (Principal), Colonial Title is a full-service title insurance agency based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Our team brings serious real estate and title-related experience, from residential sale transactions to large-scale commercial projects. The agency’s affiliated law firm, Mullen & Bizarro, P.A., works in conjunction with Colonial Title across a number of different areas involving probate estates, complex property ownership transfers, and title clearance issues. 

Colonial Title benefits from 25+ years of leadership under Sue Motta (Vice President), whose extensive FDIC and banking experience in complex loan management drives a significant portion of our portfolio. Claudia Cardinale oversees all title examination and lien search functions, and skillfully guides clients through every step of the closing process. As the first colleague to join Colonial Title back in 1991, Claudia plays a pivotal role in agency operations. Maria Castro specializes in document and contract generation, title insurance and legal closing support, and provides bilingual English/Spanish advocacy for clients.
